Recently facebook has seen a decline in the number of new accounts and also an increase in the number of accounts closing. While we really have not heard anything official from facebook on the topic, have we reached the saturation point? I know that when i launched a forum on one of the sites for my day job we witnessed a slow down in the number of new accounts and a leveling started to happen. While facebook would have a few more accounts than my forum, you are going to attract a percentage of users that want to use a service like this and saturation will happen. The decline in accounts is an interesting item, is the noise in facebook too loud?
