In the new year…I want a new cell phone.

In the new year, I want to look into a new cell phone.

Currently I have a Palm 700w and in my opinion, it works so-so. If the phone only had more internal memory and built in wi-fi, they would have a sure hit with me. But on the other side, the phone it very easy to use, with the qwerty keyboard it is very easy to send a quick sms or look up a contact or word document.

But I need to do more with my phone. Email is one thing that i miss with the cell phone. Having a Blackberry at my last job was very nice. I was always in close contact with anything that was happening. I know that i can read email and surf the web with the 700w but i was always having trouble with the storage on the phone. Even with the extended sd card.

Here are my list of demands in the new phone:

• Full qwerty keyboard. I do not want a screen qwerty keyboard like you see on the iphone, i want buttons!
• Built in wi-fi
• Blue tooth
• Ability to read several email accounts
• sync with outlook
• this list, i know, will grow.

I am on the fence about:

• Having the ability to write and edit office files. (more on that in another post)
• Camera phone. This is a nice feature, but for getting a quick image.

At this point the list is simple, but I want something that is productive and effective.
