Problem: I need the same bookmarks on all of my computers and all browsers… Here is what I have found.
If you are like me you might find yourself working on more than one computer during the day. I also find myself working in several browsers, Firefox, Flock or IE. Most of the time the computers all share certain resources so access to my files is never an issue. But, I need to have the same bookmarks on all my computers.
Since a majority of my time is in Firefox, I used foxy bookmarks and i am pleased with the performance. The sync between the computers ran smoothly. But anytime you have a sync situation, removal of a bookmark sometimes create a little hiccup.
I needed to have a none sync set up.
I had a delicious account for several years and found it to be a great source to discovery new sites. If I where to use the tagging to help store my sites for reference, this will be a great help.
When I am in Firefox, I use the extension to help tag and manage my bookmarks. When I am in Flock or IE I have a main bookmark to quick get to my delicious feed.
While simple, this set up works great for me and if you are in the same situation I am in, you might find this to help.
